Pastor Kilian

As we have seen in the “Pilgrims Out of Saxony,” that the honorable Pastor Kilian with his emigrant congregation, after their departure from Germany, had to suffer much evil defamation of character. The “Pilgrims Out of Saxony” discusses this under the title, “God’s Leading!” with sympathy and closes with this note and wish: “Among other lies was also this, that Pastor Kilian had abandoned his flock on the way. May the Lord guide the dear brothers and remain the shepherd also of this flock in their new home.”
