To our readers in Texas. In the near future a new book on the statistics of the Wendish people is to be published. According to news
in letters, the number of Wends in America, and especially in Texas, has increased greatly. For us Lusatian Wends it would be very interesting, if we
could print in our new statistical book how many Wends are living in Texas, in which area they have settled, what villages they have founded, and the
names of their clergy and teachers. So we are inviting our readers to let us have, the sooner the better, an article on Wendish statistics in Texas.
