Dear Pastor!

Upon the request of Rev. Geyer, I share with you, that we are planning to leave here on May 11. Will then, as God wills, be in Giddings on the evening of May 13. Thereafter, on the following Sunday (May 14), Pastor Geyer wishes to be installed. And, as I was informed, you are to install him. You have probably earlier received written instruction from the President. Herewith, this is for your information.

Im Auftrag des Herrn Pastor Geyer theile ich Ihnen mit das wir am 11 Mai von hir abgereisen gedenken. Werden dann so Gott will Sonnabend des 13 Mei in Giddings sein. Am darauf folgenden Sonntag (den 14ten Mai) wünschte Herr Pastor Geyer eingeführt zu werden. Und wie mir bekannt sollen Sie ihn einführen. Von Herrn Präses werden sie auch noch eher einen schrifligen Auftrag bekommen. Dieser hir mit zur Anzeiche.
