From "Confirmation Records of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Serbin, Texas 1856 - 2003" on page 4.

Number 12 1868 Confirmation at Serbin April 5, 1868 states:

"1868:12 12 Christiana fifth daughter of the late Andreas Zwahr April 1,1854
stepdaughter of Matthes Schelnik"

This implies that Matthes Schelnik married Maria Kolpe Zwahr sometime after Andreas Zwahr passed away on 25 Sept. 1855. I would like to find out when they were married. Anyone know anything about this?
