Forum Basic Introduction and Tutorial

Welcome to the Wendish Research Exchange Forum. As a member of this Forum, you have a global audience with which to discuss an unlimited number of Wendish-related Topics. Ask questions, read questions and discussions, and post replies.

As researchers, our members may be involved in research of their family history, the Wends and the Wendish history, discovery of and translation of documents authored in the Wendish, German, or English language, or a myriad of other Topics. Our members assist each other as time permits. As you learn more regarding your topics of interest, be sure to visit every now and then to help others who may share the same interests.

Topics and their replies will, from time to time, be moved in order to better present them to our audience. If a Topic receives an unusually high number of replies, the Topic may become a sub-forum or forum to highlight the interest displayed.

The following screen shots and descriptions are intended to provide a basic understanding of the use of this forum product. You will be able to reply to existing topics, and to create new topics. You also have the ability to send non-public messages to other members by using the "U2U" messaging system, which is similar to an email system, but is only available in our Forum environment.

If you have the interest, there is information regarding other features available in this forum product at the FAQ link near the top-left corner of the page, as well as multitudes of information on the Web by searching Google or other search engine for "XMB Forum".

This site promotes research and collaboration. Investing an hour of your time to learn something "new" in this tutorial will be well worth the effort. Feel free to try different things here. Experiment! Discover! Assist!
