Obituary for Johann Zoch Jr.?

Is there an obituary (translated hopefully) for Johann Zoch (b. 16 Sep 1843, d. 18 May 1876)? My understanding is he died as a result of a fire at the church (or school). Any information would be appreciated. I know he is buried at the old Holy Cross Cemetery (I recently visited the gravesite).

Thanks,

Mike Bandor

Johann Zoch

Hi Mike,

There is no known obituary for Johann Zoch as he died while a member of Holy Cross, Warda. It is the fourth death at Holy Cross. All of the death information is located in the death record of Holy Cross. The photocopy at the TWHS museum is not legible. Any information must be gotten from Holy Cross Lutheran Church itself. Recommend asking the church office to send you a scan. Weldon

Hi Mike! Have you contacted Holy Cross yet? If so, what information were you able to find?

Thanks!
