Translated Wendish Obituaries Included!

This collection is not restricted to those with Wendish heritage. It covers Lee County, Texas and more.  It is not all-inclusive, but contains information on thousands of those who lived and died in Lee County or were tied to that area in some way.

Included in this area along with obituaries are death certificates, funeral notices, and funeral booklets. An effort has been made to index females under all married names along with their maiden names. This information was not always available so please check under all names.

Please check the "Notices" section below for listings of deaths that were published in the Giddings newspapers. Due to the many names contained, the published lists are not cross-referenced here.
