I am beginning a third Blog on the Wendish Research Site, “Spitzen-Verse,” for a couple reasons. Up to now, my other two Blogs, Spitzen-Noodle and Spitzen-Doodle, have been adequate venues for my prose writings and art; however, as I commence work on a second book (my first book should be published soon), I would like for Spitzen-Verse to be the gathering point for the contents of Book Two, a collection of Haiga-Haiku about Wends and Wendish culture. The Haiga is a Japanese art form, and the Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry.
